Stephen Groth has over 30 years of financial experience in the global energy industry. He formerly served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Pacific Asia Petroleum, Inc. (later became CAMAC Energy Inc.)
Under Mr. Groth’s leadership in financial management and SEC reporting, Pacific Asia Petroleum consistently ranked one of the top among the 1,200+ rated public companies in the Accounting Governance and Risk Report (AGR) commissioned by Integrity Report, the audit partner of Forbes Magazine in the yearly “Most Trusted” companies.
Before joining CAMAC Energy, Mr. Groth spent 22 years at Texaco Inc. leading various strategic financial units within the company. His last position with Texaco included responsibility for financial review all of investments and divestments (capital expenditures, acquisitions, and divestitures) greater than $10 million.
